Dressed for a tea party...
Inspired by english tea, floral dresses, hats and bow scarfs. Me & Sonia dressed up in charity shop finds, bits and bobs from my old dressing up box and a Topshop dress for good measure.
Why I like the styling elements to these pictures..
Colour pallet is simple - picking out shades from the pale floral prints for Sonia's accessories, then mixing different shades of brown accessories' for my outfit, this allows the colour range to stay simple but effective.
The Faux fur scarfs and net hat add glamour to this look. Mixing the two different floral prints (dress & cardigan - which was my grandma's) with the belted nipped in waist keeps it ultra feminine and classic. I added an element of fun with accessories, like the big bow in Sonia's hair, the netted hat and faux fur scarfs. This gives it a dressing up feel yet we'd happily dress like this for a night out.
